Lessons from a Neglected Garden

By Yeku Caesar Bwire P.6

There once lived a man who planted trees but failed to take care of them. He neglected them for an entire month without watering them.

One day, while listening to an agricultural show on his radio, he heard the agricultural commander speak about a website called “Tree Trackers.” This website reminds people to care for their trees through watering, pruning, and thinning. The commander explained that if these practices are followed, the trees will mature and provide food, oxygen, and shade.

The man was also amazed to learn that trees are sources of herbal medicine. Realizing the great value of trees, he swore to take care of his planted trees to enjoy their fruits and fuel.

From Genesis 2:15: God placed man in the garden to cultivate and keep it.
From Revelation 22:2: Trees are sources of healing.
From Isaiah 44:14-16: Trees provide fuel for warmth and cooking.

I advise everyone to use TreeTracker to help you care for God’s creation.
