About This Website
TreeTrackers-Awareness Hub
A project by Vic View Nursery and Primary School – Jinja City, Jinja
Edify Project Exhibition 2026
Problem Statement
Many trees planted die because we forget to take care of them. How can we use a simple, fun website to help us track, nurture and celebrate our trees as good protectors of God’s creation?
Our schools and communities we stay are getting hotter, and the trees are disappearing.
“The Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it” Genesis 2:15
Vision
Our commitment is that we will train our younger ones to take care of TreeTracker so that even when we leave, the trees keep growing and the website keeps tracking!
“Train the next generation. Reap the harvest without giving up.” Proverbs 22:6 and Galatians 6:9
Mission
“Our mission is to restore and protect our planet’s ecosystems by planting native trees and utilizing transparent tracking technology to ensure every sapling thrives, fostering a cooler, greener, and more sustainable future.”
“On the mountain heights of Israel I will plant it; it will produce branches and bear fruit and become a splendid cedar. Birds of every kind will nest in it; they will find shelter in the shade of its branches.” — Ezekiel 17:23
Why This Website Was Created
We planted trees to combat climate change, purify our air, and restore vital habitats, fulfilling our responsibility to protect the Earth and secure a resilient future for generations to come.
“…its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.” — Jeremiah 17:8
