There once lived a man named John who desired to cut down a cedar tree but lacked the money to do so. He prayed earnestly to the Lord, asking for a way to have the tree cut down.

One Sunday morning, John discovered the tree already fallen to the ground. He saw this as a miracle and thanked the Lord for answering his prayer.

This story teaches us that even when we lose hope, God is working in ways we cannot see. Whenever you find yourself losing hope, I encourage you to read 1 Kings 5:6 and find renewed faith.
